Is it just me, or do they look nothing alike?

Hi, everyone.
I just wanted to ask if we could keep the... er, personal attacks toward the actors at a minimum? I know that we're unhappy with some of the casting, (and I'm really the one that started this by making my avatar) but I don't think we should judge the actors and actresses just by their appearances. No matter how corny that sounds.
Can we please wait to at least see the movie before we start criticizing?
This is a controversial topic because Annabeth Chase (left) is going to be played by Alexandra Daddario (right) in the 2010 movie
of Rick Riordan's The Lightning Thief, which is part of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series.
Although Annabeth is twelve years old in the book, Ms. Daddario is already twenty three. Thus the "I don't understand..." in Spanish. Because, really: Who does?
I just borrowed the photos, Annabeth from [link] and AlexD's photo from [link] I do not own these images, or Rick Riordan's characters. :nods:

I'm honestly fine with how the movies turned out. I also like how the characters were portrayed. I get a lot of Diehard Percy Jackson fans are/were mad at the films and casting but I liked it. Granted I never read the books and probably never will. XD Mostly cause lack of time and interest in the books. Movies are more my cup of tea...less reading. XD
