Before the Last Olympian, it was the Titan's Curse, because we met so many gods, and I liked how it focused on Thalia. Though it was a bummer Annabeth wasn't around. And that was the first Council Percy was a part of, which is always fun to read.
Hmm, my fave - based on Rick Riordan's interpretation, of course - is ...Apollo? Or Dionysus. I like Apollo because of his bad poetry and humor, but Mr. D is actually sort of an angsty character. He was amazing in The Titan's Curse with his back story, and I love how he's constantly getting Percy's name wrong. Keeps Percy humble...
My least favorite is Hera, because she's so condescending. And Zeus. His head is too big - it hasn't shrunken since Athena shot out.
My fave is Annabeth, if you couldn't tell. She's kind of like my role model, because she's super smart, and still a good fighter. She's like... ultra-feminine Clarisse with a crush on Percy and a major weakness for architecture. Or something. And Percy loves her, which just goes to show that smart girls can be main characters! YAY, RR!
Least fave is Tyson. (I'm not even going to say Rachel, because I'm trying to be original.) Sorry, dude. I love how you're Percy's brother, and you're so supportive, but it really, really annoys me when Tyson speaks. He's like the character for little kids - the Jar-Jar Binks of Percy Jackson. Can't stand the guy.
THIS OR THAT:
Percabeth, because Luke is seven years older than Annabeth. Gross. And Annabeth keeps Percy from being stupid, and he loves her unconditionally, even though he doesn't know it.
Omigods, Annabeth! Are you kidding me?! I hate Rachel.
Can we answer THUKE instead? YAY, THUKE! ...Thalia if I have to choose.
Hm, Percy's awesome sword that returns to his pocket, or Luke's evil mortal-killing weapon? Riptide, duh.
Ugh, that's a hard one. The sea technically has more power, because it's... you know, the sea. But wisdom has the advantage because as Annabeth said in the Lightning Thief, "Even strength has to bow to wisdom sometimes." She's right. Let's go with wisdom... then make plans to visit the beach.
TRUE OR FALSE (opinion based)
...I can't believe they're asking me this. Hello? (TRUE times five thousand)
Um, can we say f-a-l-s-e?
Basically true. I had to keep stopping during the Last Olympian, because I was so excited I couldn't focus.
Actually, you might hate me for this, but that's false. ONLY BECAUSE the reason Percabeth is amazing is because they have to suffer through so much to get where they are. And if they both kissed each other just like that, it would've been anticlimactic and boring.
Sigh... true. [link] Vu and Namesake are the only ones for now.
